离乡背井工作了20多年终于要落叶归根了。游子靠岸前最想要的是准备一个能让自己稱心如意的家。在网上搜索了一番后，我很幸运的找到了Vault Design Lab为我量身定做属于自己的空間。当时身在国外，大家合作的默契全凭对彼此的信任，充分的沟通，和互相的配合。我很庆幸Vault的设计师团队总是能站在业主的角度给出让人眼前一亮的设计方案，不管是美学的角度还是实用性的建議，总超出了我的预期。由衷的感谢Vault特别是霖慧帮我实现了多年来梦寐以求的家。

The Vault Design team designed and built the entire interior of new home and the entire process from design conceptualisation to build was done seamlessly. This was made possible by Mixy and Lin Hui who were incredibly resourceful in both proposing workable new age designs, as well as coming up with solutions to solve numerous structural issues that we had in our condominium unit.
Interior fittings produced from their contractors was of high quality, and their work ethic was very professional. Throughout our project it has been a real pleasure working with them as their experience in dealing with all 3rd party providers (e.g. contractors, suppliers, condo management) truly made the entire process a worry-free experience. They went over and beyond in sourcing for specific interior fittings that suited our taste and rectified issues we had in a timely manner. After sales service and follow-up was superb. I would highly recommend the Vault Design team.

Vault Design Lab is one of the best in the country. I’d recommend if you want to have professionals in design as well as executions. Nevertheless, after sales service is absolutely professional and resolved all minor problems in promptly manner. I would say their professionalism on providing solutions are top. The price they’ve quoted and final payment for everything is reasonable. Also, there are no ‘hidden’ costs compare to others. Glad and fortunate to hire them.

We engaged VDL on a "turn key" basis for our new place at Shorefront Penang. Admittedly, designing someone else's home is an extremely difficult task but VDL seems to have a flair in understanding a person's taste, wants and preferences easily through simple whatsapp messages and phone calls. The fact that we were hardly around in Penang to sit down together with the designers does not appear to have affected their work delivery and quality.

VDL carried out the designing work beautifully, patiently listened to what we wanted (oh boy, we had many specific instructions!) and executing the renovation work seamlessly. When we decided we didn't like the marble slab after it's been installed, they never quivered in search of another perfect marble slab for replacement. When we toyed with the idea of a smart automated home, electronic blinds and curtains and remote surveillance etc, although not having much experience with smart home (there's just not that much demand for stuff like that in Penang yet), they rise up to the challenge, made phone calls, researched extensively and came up with solutions and recommendations. When the condo management was being difficult with the renovation process, when the carpentry works were behind time, when the electricians were erratic, the VDL team practically rolled up their sleeves and dealt with all the external players with gumption. They even helped to source and acquire furniture and ornamental items by making numerous trips to KL - with an offer to haul back a live Xmas tree for me!

On the handover date, upon arrival at the property, I was greeted with an extremely clean, cosy, refined place which was tastefully dressed and decorated (with even the bedsheets all done for me) - I was deeply moved by the gesture.

It's been about 9 months since the handover, the VDL team is always there to help with random maintenance requirements and have gone way above and beyond the call of duty.

We feel that the 5 star rating is a little inadequate for the work they have put in for us as the VDL team deserves way more than that.

I count my lucky stars to have Mixy and Lin Hui who went above and beyond in making sure our abode looks and feels great for my family. Following the transformation, I have been looking forward to be home since then. Highly recommended.
